OVERLAND PARK, KAN. — GivePet, a philanthropic dog treat manufacturer, announced last week the launch of its new chewy treat line.

The four new treat formulas include: Doggy Paddle with coconut, mango and pineapple; Upward Dog with banana, peanut butter and chia seed; Off-Leash Leisure with applesauce, bacon and cinnamon; and Beagle Scout with carob, honey and vanilla.

All four treat recipes are grain-free and come in 6-oz packages. The new soft and chewy offerings complement GivePet’s existing baked biscuit treats, which are sold in 12-oz packages or 9.5-lb bulk boxes.

GivePet has pledged to donate enough treats for at least 10 shelter dogs for every purchase of one of its new treat products. The company said it has donated more than 250,000 treats to shelters in the United States over the last six months.
